David Fletcher
David works as an educator, action researcher and capacity building consultant specializing in community-driven development, transformative education and building resilient communities. He has over thirty years experience in facilitation, program design, coordinating processes for sustainable learning, participatory action research, program evaluation, strategic planning and management. David has worked in organisational, community and social movement settings in more than 10 countries in Africa, in Asia, in Canada and in other parts of the world where people-centred development, equity and justice is pursued.
David has a PhD based on his interdisciplinary research work on community resilience, from the University for Development Studies, Ghana and holds a Master in Adult Education (Community Development) from St Francis Xavier University, and a B.Art.Sci. in International Development Studies from McMaster University.
